I recently came across a video from NetworkChuck about having a website.
That’s something I don’t really feel the need, because I don’t have much to say/share. After my experience as influencer (I think that’s how content creator are called theses days) I really don’t want to have the burden of managing any community.
But yeah, he as a good point, for IT professional having a website is important, even for back-end gals like me.
When I say back-end i mean it, I really hate the the front-end stuff, like HTML/CSS, UX design, all that stuff is not for me. But setting up the server, even if I went for an easy solution with AWS Lightsail because I did not want to take the risk of throwing myself in a infinite setup time because I can try new stuff at the same time (the whole point of this is to try, experiment and learn).
I’m pretty sure I’ll move to Elastic Beanstalk sooner or later, for a better integration with my own AWS infrastructure sooner or later, but as least, I have a website (Yeah!!)
